The newly appointed, very young principal wants to reduce the burden on parents as much as possible, so she decides to change the system so that the nursery school provides nap bedding.

They also took great care to provide different sized futons for each class to accommodate the children's growth, ensuring a more comfortable nap time.

Environmental friendliness and quality

This initiative does not just provide comfortable futons, but also focuses on the materials used.

In particular, this project uses environmentally friendly recycled cotton as its main material.

By collecting old nap mats used by graduating students and reusing them as material for new bedding, we are able to reduce waste of resources while also considering the impact on the environment.

Furthermore, in order to ensure the durability of the nap futons, we examine the quality of the collected nap futons and add appropriate raw materials to remake them into cotton.

In addition, by using more padding than usual, it is possible to maintain quality for a long period of time.

This design ensures that the product is strong enough to withstand daily use and will last for many years.

The co-creation process

In fact, the production period for these special nap mats was very tight, and we were a little worried whether they would be ready in time for use from the start of the new school year.

However, I believe the key to making the delivery successful was the close communication we had with the nursery school.

The nursery school listened to their detailed requests and we designed the perfect nap mat, giving top priority to the safety and comfort of the children.

Here are some items that were developed through this process that allowed us to think outside the box and give shape to new ideas.

Kangaroo sheets are rare nap blankets that have pockets on the top and bottom.

It is easier to put on and take off than the cover type, and it is also easy to wash.
