Washable futon delivery examples

I'm looking for a washable mattress.

Bilingual Nursery School, Rifu-cho, Miyagi-gun, Miyagi Prefecture

It seems that an increasing number of daycare centers are looking for clean bedding to ensure the health of their children.

The bilingual nursery school that contacted us this time owns its own dry cleaning facility and is very particular about cleanliness.

When we first received the inquiry, we suggested a "Watoji" futon, which we supply to many nursery schools.

However, when I asked about the frequency of cleaning, I was told that even if the amount of cotton and the number of stitches are adjusted for "Watoji", there are still concerns about its durability.

Therefore, we decided to go beyond what we had initially recommended and propose a completely different type of futon.

-------------------------------

What is Wa-toji?

A Japanese futon has many layers of fluffy cotton inside.
The method of fastening the filling with thread to keep it from shifting is called "Watoji."

If there are too many stitches, the futon will lose its volume and it will affect the comfort of your sleep.
Depending on the size of the futon, we finish the product taking into consideration the number of stitches.

*Please note that if you wash a Japanese-style futon in a rotary washing machine, such as a coin laundry, the sewing threads will break and the cotton will become unevenly distributed.

-------------------------------

Here is the mattress we proposed:

The entire surface is quilted to prevent it from becoming uneven even after multiple cleanings.

Considering comfort and heat retention, a fair amount of cotton is necessary, but since it will be used by small children, it is very important that the futon does not sink in too much, even if it contains a lot of cotton.

This is also taken into consideration when designing the quilt shape.

We also pay attention to the padding.

The filling is not the "Indian cotton" that is often used in Japanese-style futons, but rather a high-performance polyester fiber called "Dacron®."

This fiber, which has passed very strict international quality control standards, has the special structure that makes it easy to wash and dry.
Another attractive feature is its durability, which allows it to maintain a fluffy feel even after washing.

By washing it thoroughly, you can remove all dirt and bacteria, making it very hygienic to use.

We later had the opportunity to visit the bilingual nursery school.
The gardens were beautiful and just as we had imagined.

They treated me very politely and I was able to talk to them about various things, such as their thoughts on running the business, what concerns they had, and what improvements they would like to make.

It was wonderful to see the young teachers taking the initiative and running the school with their own ideas of what they wanted to do, and we were very happy to be able to be a part of it.

I'm sure it will grow into a wonderful nursery school.

We were reminded once again of our strong desire to "support people's lives through sleep" so that everyone can live vibrantly.

Thank you, Bilingual Nursery School.
