This gauze has been painstakingly produced using the traditional Japanese "Wazarashi" method.
Washed Kyoto Hitoe Gauze is made by carefully washing the fabric to remove impurities without damaging the fibers, and is characterized by its softness, pleasant feel on the skin, and lightness. It is made from 100% natural cotton and is a high-quality fabric made in Japan, from weaving to dyeing.
Although it is a delicate single-ply gauze, it is less likely to pill and is just as strong as regular fabrics.
