This fabric is made from Supima extra-long staple cotton, one of the world's three major cottons, woven into satin with extremely fine 80-count thread, and is characterized by its beautiful luster and meltingly smooth feel.
The SL duvet cover weighs approximately 600g, which is 35% lighter than regular cotton broadcloth, and its excellent draping properties mean it fits snugly against the skin, trapping body heat and making it ideal for winter duvets.
*What is Supima?
Among American-grown Pima cotton, Superior Pima, or Supima cotton for short, is the high-quality Pima that meets the strict quality standards set by the American Supima Association.It is a rare cotton that can only be grown in the hot, dry regions of California, Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico, and accounts for less than 1% of the cotton grown worldwide.
