Delivery example #008

Hello everyone, this is Kanauchi Kaito from Sleep Shop.
This time, we will introduce a case where a futon that was no longer used after a child grew up was reborn as a practical long cushion. We will tell you the details, so please read to the end.

A child's comforter filled with memories

A comforter that has been used as the children grow up. This comforter is not just a comforter, but a comforter filled with family memories.
However, as time passes and your child grows, children's futons will gradually become obsolete. I think that in many cases, people end up throwing away futons that they no longer use because they have trouble storing them. Many people feel bad about just throwing them away because they are filled with so many memories .

About the items we store

Condition of children's quilts

The comforter we received had many stains, shrinkages, and wrinkles. These were signs that it had been slept on and used a lot, and we could tell it was a comforter filled with memories of the child growing up.

As it was a duvet, it did contain synthetic fibers, but it also had a good amount of cotton in it, making it a filling that seemed quite useful.
The cotton had lost some moisture and was dry, but it was in good condition with very little dirt or impurities.

Finished product and finish

A long zabuton is a convenient item that can be used when relaxing in the living room or room.
We hope that by transforming the children's comforters into long cushions, they will once again become an important part of family life.
In addition, the vibrant green sarasa pattern brightens up the room and makes your daily life more enjoyable.

It's very moving to know that my memories of my duvet will live on in a new form.

Re-stuffing the comforters and futons in your home is not just about reusing items, it is also about cherishing family memories and finding new value in them.

I think it's wonderful that futons that are no longer in use can be reused and continue to be a part of family life.

If you have a futon full of memories and are thinking of throwing it away, or just can't bring yourself to throw it away, why not try having it re-stuffed?
