Delivery example #021

Hello, I'm Kanauchi, a staff member at Sleep Shop.

This time, we will continue with the re-casting delivery case we introduced last time.

For the second order, we re-stuffed one new comforter (single size) and also made good use of the leftover cotton from the previous re-stuffing without wasting it.

The finished products are a light blanket and a cushion.
I'll give you more details on how it turned out.

Regarding the cotton futon we received

Condition of the quilt

The comforter we received this time was a single size.
It was a very unique patterned comforter featuring orange and red squares.
It appears to be a different color from the comforter we received last time.

The last time we received a quilt, the surface was covered with small "lumps" of cotton, and it looked like it was falling off. However, the quilt we received this time, Although there were a few lumps, the filling was not in too bad a condition.

The quality of the cotton was not much different from the last one, containing a lot of synthetic fibers.

Irregular Thread Cotton Fabric: Many Patterns I Like

In fact, when Mr. Y first contacted us, he said he wanted to make a comforter out of uneven cotton fabric.
The reason is that there are many patterns that suit your taste.

However, due to budgetary considerations, we decided not to use it for the duvet last time.
She expressed a desire to use uneven thread cotton fabric for her next order .

This time, we decided to make a "quilt cover" and a "cushion" using the uneven cotton fabric.

"Uneven Thread Cotton Fabric" is a stylish and unique fabric

When you think of cotton bedding fabric, many people probably think of traditional floral designs.

Of course, there are also many people who like the nostalgic and relaxing atmosphere.
But maybe some of you have had thoughts like this?

  • Are there any other fabrics with different feel?

  • I want a cotton futon that is unique and fun to look at...

For such people, we recommend " uneven thread cotton fabric ."

The stylish and playful design will add color to your everyday life.
Irregularly threaded cotton fabric is a fabric that offers a new sensation not found in traditional cotton futons .

Unique fabric - uneven cotton
The 100% cotton uneven thread cotton fabric is not only stylish in appearance, but is also extremely functional .

The uneven cotton fabric is made by weaving together threads of different thicknesses, which creates a natural unevenness on the surface of the fabric. This makes it less likely to stick to your skin, making it cool and comfortable to wear even in hot weather.
It is also breathable and goes extremely well with cotton batting.

"If I'm going to make one anyway, I want to make one that's a little different from the ones I've made before."
If you are one of those people, we recommend you try a cotton futon with an uneven cotton fabric.

What is the finished product?

About the finish

This time, we used one comforter and the leftover cotton from the previous comforter to re-stuff it into a "light blanket" and a "cushion."

Because a light blanket contains less cotton, the softness and suppleness of the uneven cotton fabric is more pronounced.
The outer fabric is a formal small pattern in evergreen, and the lining is a plain light green fabric.
Both are unified in green tones, creating a comforter that exudes a calm and gentle atmosphere.

In addition, one customer requested that they "make cushions out of the leftover cotton," so we made some.

The front side features a lapis lazuli stationery pattern, while the back side is a plain golden yellow color that matches the colors used in the pattern.
The colors flow naturally, creating a cushion that is playful and unified.

*Points to note when ordering a pattern play cotton futon

There are currently some changes to the specifications, so I'd like to introduce them to you.

①: You can choose a patterned fabric for the front side of both the comforter and mattress. The back side will only be plain.

②: Comforters and semi-double or larger futons always have "seams" in them, but the seams are plain (usually the color chosen on the back).
